Meet Our Director – Steven Aaron

Steve loves everyone; especially those involved in this show, those who supported him in his involvement in this show, and YOU for coming to see the show.  He also loves this show and PUPUSAS, Steve LOVES pupusas.

Steve is a super talented and creative individual. He takes time to do the little things, like writing a thank you note to every one involved in the show, That was not a small job. He is considerate of everyone around and likes to have fun. We are so glad Steve agreed to be our director.

To further demonstrate the creativity of this guy here is his Director’s Note for ‘A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum’

As I was driving once I saw this painted on a bridge: If I could tell the world just one thing it would be that we’re all okay, and not to worry ’cause… In every life we have some trouble, but when you worry – you make it double… Don’t let the world bring you down… Take a sad song and make it better… Remember all the sadness and frustration, and let it go… Come on with the rain; I’ve a smile on my face… Take a breath and step into the light… Close your eyes, clear your heart… Love is all you need.

If you don’t know what “Pastiche” means, look it up, (I know I had to). The director’s note will make more sense and it will make art in any form more interesting. After you have widened your intellectual horizons come to The Echo Theatre to see Steven’s excellent work as a director play out in our production of  ‘A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum’
